The Community Agenda initiative is a community engagement process to examine data and establish priorities to improve local health and human services in Flagler and Volusia Counties (Florida).  The earliest phase of the project began in 2004 by convening a meeting of key representatives from 26 community groups.  The effort expanded in 2005 to include hundreds of community organizations and individuals and formation of a steering committee of leaders from health and human services.  The culmination of those efforts was the publication of the Community Agenda Snapshot in May of 2006.

It is with a sense of accomplishment that the Community Agenda initiative moved into the second year of data collection.  The process continued to rely on community participation for financial supporters, leadership and particularly for identifying and prioritizing additional data indicators.  The 2007 Snapshot report was published in May and placement on this web site provides access for all community members.

Data collection and review continued over the next year and it is in the spirit of community improvement that the  2008 Snapshot report is now available.
